gosh the anti-chinese protesters looked a lot more organised in those days…matching singlets, synchronised running etc. Things were generally much better in those days - today all that stands in front of brandy gate (at the end of UDL street. Lol etc. yep.) is a sad clown busker dressed in a creepy beige vinyl clownsuit and some dudes in uniforms of dubious origin offering to stamp your passport with the DDR stamp. Although i was reading an article today about the 17year long bid to make the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and and one of the proposals was to just blow up the brandenberg gate.

Genius. Dubravka is coming to live in the Melbourne Commune for Lady Writers too.
And who knows? hopefully some enraged pro milosevic person will search for “milosevic AND tamagotchi” and find this blog and restore the comments section to their former glory. One can but dream - it’s what Torchy would want.
